The Dry January Adventure:
Ride the Pink Cloud into 2024
Welcome to The Dry January Adventure! My name is Mary Steuart Dyer and I am excited to announce the third annual Dry January Adventure beginning on January 1, 2024.
The Dry January Adventure is a 31 day mind/body (all online and in your own time) alcohol-free supportive community. The Dry January Adventure will provide you with the support and tools you need so that you can gain a new perspective with your relationship to alcohol versus “white knuckling” your way through Dry January all alone. Also, and equally as important, The Dry January Adventure provides access to a like-minded judgement-free community offering essential support and encouragement. This program is open to anyone, whether you are looking to cleanse your body, are “sober curious” (see what it’s like to not drink for a period of time) or are looking to be completely alcohol-free.
During these 31 days, I will be sharing my alcohol-free toolbox with you. This will include mini science lessons and concrete research on what alcohol does to your brain and body. You will have on-demand access to various forms of yoga, meditation and breathwork classes weekly which will provide alternative coping mechanisms to relieve stress and calm your nervous system. Live- virtual meetings will be offered for additional support. And finally, daily tips, tools and encouragement will be offered to overcome cravings and triggers and give you the opportunity to feel like your best self.
This will be a private Facebook group and I encourage that everyone jump-in and support each-other. Supporting and being supported is incredibly important to be successful. It is your Adventure, you can remain low profile, just follow along, or you can participate every day. I just ask that you respect the privacy of others and keep all information posted within this private group.
The Dry January Adventure’s goal is to help you cleanse, learn, grow, and have all the tools you need to create a healthier relationship with alcohol.

Mary Steuart Dyer
has practiced yoga for over 17 years, and has been teaching for over 3 of those years. She has extensive experience in many different types of yoga including vinyasa, yin, kundalini, and gentle yoga.
After Mary Steuart became a mother, she relied on her yoga practice more and more to help her reconnect to the parts of herself that had become buried in the process of caring for children. Yoga offered a much needed sanctuary for her at that time, and as her practice grew, she became more drawn to the spiritual and meditative aspects of yoga. Within this practice, she discovered her own sobriety was paramount in finding that spiritual connection, with the crucial support of meditation, yoga, and connection to nature.
Since 2020 Mary Steuart has earned three yoga certifications: a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification in Vinyasa Yoga and a 30 Hour Yin Intensive Training under the guidance of her dear teachers and mentors, Christina Helms and Sarah Bodner of Three Birds Yoga Studio in Florham Park, NJ; and a 220 Hour Level One Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training certification under the expert guidance of Angad Kaur Khalsa and Simran Kaur Khalsa of Kundalini Yoga East in New York City.
Testimonials
"I have gotten way more than I could have ever imagined. First realizing how much alcohol was ingrained in my brain. Big wake up call. The support of the group was key for me. Hearing everyone’s stories and having a safe space to share. The yoga and journaling and of course weekly meetings with mocktails, but I truly loved everything. It took me a while to feel any change, probably about 20 days in which I felt clearer and calmer. Pink cloud!"
"This program has been very helpful and insightful. I enjoy being part of a group, the structure, checking in daily, etc. I never felt that AA was the route for me and the TSA has helped me to continue the work and feel supported."
"Makes you set aside time for yourself daily!. Self-care. Take what you need, look back on what you didn’t have time for etc. love the mini seminars on so many topics !!!"
